A good deck is built to handle Arkansas summers, wet springs and the occasional cold snap. Mayo's Construction builds new composite and wood decks, railings, stairs and porches in Hot Springs, AR, and repairs the ones you already have.

What's underneath decides whether a deck lasts. On this job we framed it on a concrete patio with joists, posts and metal connectors, then finished it with low-maintenance composite boards, railings, stairs and lattice skirting.

Often, yes. If the framing is sound, replacing boards and railings can bring a deck back. If it isn't, we'll tell you plainly.
Wood costs less up front but needs regular staining or sealing. Composite, like the deck in the photos above, costs more up front and needs much less upkeep. We'll go through both with you for your budget.
It depends on the size and height. We'll tell you what your project needs and go over it in your written quote.
